If you are applying for a Saudi Arabia visa from the UK as a non-British resident, your UK status must be valid for your whole trip — we recommend at least 3 months of validity remaining — and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months on arrival. Saudi Arabia offers separate visa categories depending on your main purpose of travel. Choosing the right category from the outset avoids delays and makes sure your visa matches what you plan to do in the Kingdom.
A 1-year, multiple-entry electronic visa for tourism, family visits and events in Riyadh, AlUla, Jeddah and beyond — up to 90 days per visit. Tourist eVisa holders can also perform Umrah outside the Hajj period, after booking a permit on the Nusuk app. It cannot be used for Hajj or for work.
A dedicated pilgrimage visa issued through Nusuk Umrah. Applications must be linked to a Nusuk-approved hotel and pre-booked ground transport. Single-entry Umrah visas must be used within 30 days of issue and allow up to 90 days in the Kingdom. Pilgrims must also book Umrah and Rawdah slots on the Nusuk app before visiting Masjid al-Haram and the Prophet's Mosque.
If you are travelling for corporate meetings, commercial negotiations, trade exhibitions or industry summits, you need a Saudi business visit visa — or, as a British citizen, you may be able to use the EVW for short business trips.
